 Critical House Rules

As part of our program rules, we have critical rules that must be followed. These are not all the rules but these are the most important. Violations of these rules are grounds for immediate dismissal or expulsion.

  1. All living spaces (living, dining, bathrooms, and kitchen) must stay clean at all times. It is the responsibility of the entire household. Please work out a cleaning schedule among yourselves.
  2. Each resident has one designated wash day per week.
  3. No destruction of property belonging to or being rented by Borne to Foster Housing Solutions, or another resident's property.
  4. No physical or verbal assault on another resident or member of the staff.
  5. No use of alcohol, illegal drugs, or non-approved narcotics on the premises or being intoxicated on the premises (Policy on Drug and Alcohol Use).
  6. Any criminal act, for example, theft or selling drugs on the premises or directed toward other residents or staff of Borne to Foster Housing Solutions.
  7. No smoking in non-smoking areas.
  8. No weapons of any kind are allowed on our premises. If needed, the police will be called.
  9. No bringing visitors to the home without appropriate approval.
  10. Non-compliance with psychotropic medication and/or failure to take medication(s) as prescribed.
  11. Non-compliance with any medical treatment may result in hospitalization or admission to an inpatient unit of any kind.
  12. There are no romantic or sexual relationships among residents while in the program.
  13. Stay out of other people's rooms.
  14. There is a late fee of $15 per day for the first 5 days. Anything more than 5 days we start the eviction process.

600 Credit Score

In our meticulous screening process, we will be conducting a thorough credit check to ensure financial reliability. A positive credit history demonstrates responsible financial behavior, laying the foundation for a secure and trustworthy tenant-landlord relationship. Additionally, we will be looking into rental history, seeking evidence of timely payments and good tenant conduct. Our commitment to maintaining a high standard is reflected in our policy of excluding any applicants with a history of evictions, ensuring a safe and harmonious living environment for all.

$50 Application Fee

Please be advised that as part of our comprehensive tenant screening process, we will be collecting a non-refundable $50 application fee from all prospective tenants. This fee helps cover the costs associated with conducting thorough background checks, including credit checks, assessment of rental history, and verification of eviction records.

First Month Rent and Deposit Required

To ensure a smooth and efficient move-in process, we kindly inform our prospective tenants that on the move-in day, the first month's rent and deposit are required. These payments can be conveniently made using a debit or credit card, as we currently accept Cash App and Square transactions. Please note that we do not accept cash payments. Additionally, each resident must have an active email address and a working phone, essential for communication and updates. To complete the application process, we request a current picture, one valid government ID, and a certificate of employment.
